In these sessions, you’ll get to roll up your sleeves and get hands on with clay while your artist-instructor guides you through the steps of throwing pottery on the wheel.

You’ll throw at your own station, which features all of the equipment and supplies you’ll need to throw handmade pottery.

Wheel classes are limited to 15 makers/couples or less. You will be working for most of the class.

Please wear comfortable clothes that will allow you to straddle the wheel and have long hair tied back. Aprons are available but you will get dirty from the elbows down; short sleeves are recommended.

You can choose any of our 6 featured projects to make during the session. Projects include a bowl, candle holder, vase, cup, pot or wine tumbler. Make a second project for $30.

Personalize your pottery by using one of our custom profile tools. With so many styles to choose from, you can create a unique design made for you by you.

Your experience includes studio time, clay, tools, supplies, instructions and bisque firing (initial firing) for your projects.

Your experience includes bisque firing (initial firing). For an additional fee, you can add Color + Shine with our lead-free glazes. Glazed pottery is dishwasher and microwave safe.

You can bring your project to life by adding a cactus or plant to complete your project. We also offer candle kits to make your pottery into a reusable, refillable candle holder. Candle kits are made with soy wax and wooden wicks.
