YES, KIDS ARE WELCOME! We offer pottery experiences for kids of all ages.
Kids under 8 can throw with adult help, while those 8 and older can throw on their own. Handbuilding can be enjoyed by kids of all ages. You can even bring the little ones to capture their handprint in clay!

ABOUT THIS EXPERIENCE
In these sessions, you will be creating your pottery at a workbench.
Our Studio Artists will introduce you to hand-building techniques and guide you through the process to create your unique project.
Personalize your pottery by adding surface decorations. Your handmade pieces will remain in the studio for 2-3 weeks to dry and bisque fire in the kiln.
The possibilities of what you can create are endless. Choose to craft a unique art piece or opt for functional pottery like ring dishes, plates, bowls, mugs, and more. Want to make a second project? Add a project for $30.
Personalize your pottery by using textures and stamps to design a piece that's entirely your own creation.
Your experience includes studio time, clay, tools, supplies, instructions, bisque firing (initial firing), and glaze firing for your projects.
Your experience includes bisque firing (initial firing) and glaze firing. You can add Color + Shine with our lead-free glazes. Glazed pottery is dishwasher and microwave safe.
Don't have time to glaze your pottery? Order Glaze By Smashed (additional fee) and our studio artists can apply glaze for you.
You can bring your project to life by adding a cactus or plant to complete your project. We also offer candle kits to make your pottery into a reusable, refillable candle holder. Candle kits are made with soy wax and wooden wicks.
