Our Mobile Pottery Studio is now accepting applications from private schools and after-school programs to host on-site pottery classes for kids. Yes, we can bring pottery wheels to your school!

Led by qualified instructors, students gain foundational skills in clay handling, sculpting, and throwing—developing fine motor coordination and artistic confidence along the way.

We take care of all materials and lesson planning, and clean up making it an effortless and enriching addition to your extracurricular lineup.

HOW DOES IT WORK?

STEP 1

CHOOSE THE DAY/TIME YOU WANT OUR MOBILE POTTERY STUDIO TO VISIT YOUR SCHOOL.

STEP 2

SELECT THE PROJECT(S) YOU WANT TO OFFER AS OPTIONS FOR YOUR STUDENTS TO MAKE AND SUBMIT YOUR REQUEST.

STEP 3

AFTER YOUR EVENT IS CONFIRMED, YOU CAN INVITE STUDENTS TO PARTICIPATE BY SHARING THE INFORMATION AND PAYMENT LINK WITH FAMILIES.

STEP 4

ON THE DAY OF THE EVENT, INSTRUCTORS ARRIVE, SET UP SUPPLIES AND EQUIPMENT, FACILITATE THE CLASS AND CLEAN UP WHEN IT'S OVER!

FOR MOST PROJECTS, STUDENTS CAN TAKE THEIR PROJECTS HOME THE SAME DAY!

FAQs

We have age-appropriate projects for ages 5 and up. We also offer seasonal handmade gift projects for little ones - like clay handprints, bubble mugs and more.

We offer hand-building, throwing and other DIY projects like making soap and mosaics. We offer a variety of themed, seasonal and specialty projects throughout the year.

No monthly commitment! Because our classes are project-based, there is not a pre-determined number of classes students are required to attend.

Each class is 60 minutes with most projects consisting of 1-2 classes. Classes can be stacked to accommodate multiple groups.

Because we provide two instructors per class, we have a 10 student minimum per project. While there is not a specific maximum number of students, we like to maintain a 1:8 teacher student ratio per class. We can work with you to stack classes to accommodate large groups.

Most projects are $38 per student. We also offer project "pairings" (e.g. Pottery Soap Dish followed by Handmade Soap). Students who choose to attend both classes pay only $48 for two projects.

For sure! You can book field trips, special events and team buildings at our studios. Contact us for additional information.

Because working with clay can be complex and requires a lot of equipment, kids don't often get the opportunity to explore this medium.

That's why we started the Little Pottery Project - to help make the art of handmade pottery more accessible to kids. Our Mobile Pottery Studio allows us to deliver experienced, friendly instructors and non-toxic, kid-friendly materials and tools to you!
