How Do I Check the Status of My Pottery?

You can check the status of your pottery by logging into your account or clicking on the chat bubble in the bottom right of the page. Your order number was texted or emailed to you when you completed the check out process.

I Don't Have My Order Number, Now What?

We update the status on the table below when all the projects from the firing token group is complete; the status may not change for 5-7 days. 

If you glazed your pottery (painted on color/glaze), be sure to use the token color from your most recent visit not the token color from when you made the pottery. 

*This status does not apply if you pre-paid for Glaze by Smashed; you will receive an email or text when your pottery is ready. You can contact us for the status if it's been 5+ weeks since your initial visit.

Do I Need an Appointment to Pick Up?

Once your pottery is ready for pick up, stop by the studio during open hours.

Make sure you bring the email you received when you checked out. Your email will contain your name, photos and firing token which will help you identify your pottery in the studio.

An appointment is not needed to pick up and/or glaze pottery but please allow enough time to pull your pottery from our shelves. We fire hundreds of items each week and it can take a minute to spot your pottery.

When Do I Add Color and Shine?

Once your pottery is ready for pick up, you can either take it home or apply color and a lead-free glaze. If you take it home, it will be like a terracotta pot – it will not be food safe but you can use it for decorative purposes.

If you choose to add a glaze, your pottery will need to be glaze fired. You add color and clear glaze in the same session.

Once glazed and fired, your pottery will be dishwasher and microwave safe.
